1. The $1 Security Verification Fee

To ensure the safety of our pets and to filter out automated bot activity, we require a nominal $1 Security Verification Fee at the start of the adoption process.

  • Non-Refundable: This fee is used to cover the administrative costs of identity verification and secure processing. It is non-refundable, regardless of whether the adoption is finalized.

2. Transport Fees (Pay on Arrival)

Our unique “Pay on Arrival” model is designed to protect our adopters.

  • No Upfront Payment: You are not required to pay the $30–$50 transport fee in advance.

  • Verification Before Payment: You only pay the transport fee directly to the Pet Bus driver after the pet has arrived at your doorstep and you have personally verified its identity and health.

  • No Refund Necessary: Since you do not pay the transport fee until the pet is in your hands, there is no need for a refund process for shipping costs.

3. Pet Adoption “Returns”

We believe every pet deserves a “Forever Home.” Because a pet is a living being and not a consumer product, we do not offer “returns” or “exchanges” once the adoption is finalized and the pet is in your care.

  • Pre-Adoption Selection: We provide Live Video Consultations before any transport begins to ensure you are 100% confident in your choice.

  • Health Guarantee: All pets are health-verified before boarding our Pet Bus. If you notice any immediate health concerns upon arrival, you may discuss them with the driver before finalizing the handover and paying the transport fee.

4. Cancellation Policy

  • Before Transport: You may cancel your adoption request at any time before the pet is boarded onto our Pet Bus. However, the $1 verification fee remains non-refundable.

  • During Transport: Once the pet has started its journey on our Climate-Controlled Pet Bus, cancellations may incur a small administrative fee to cover the logistics of returning the pet to our facility.
